The 6-3, 240-pounder combined the season with a solid week of practice at the All-Star Classic, including a game performance on Saturday that included two tackles, to help earn him is first SEC offer on Monday.
"Because of the All-Star Classic's December date, we felt that there would be players who would be able to use the game and the week of practice to help secure a major college scholarship offer, so we were very pleased to see the news that Corvell had achieved that goal," said All-Star Classic Executive Director Vic Knight.
Harrison's verbal commitment to Mississippi State now means that 36 All-Star Classic players have committed to play at SEC and other FBS schools next year.
